How Court Cards Really Work

Court cards are not fixed personality labels. They can describe roles, behaviors, conflicts, and stages of growth.

Rank describes expression

Pages discover, Knights pursue, Queens contain, and Kings structure. The rank shows how energy is held or expressed before the suit tells what kind of energy it is.

A court card may not be a person

A court card can point to another person, a role in the situation, an inner part of the querent, a habit, a conflict style, or a developmental task. Context decides.

The body helps

Court cards become easier when read through posture, gaze, hands, direction, and relational distance. The figure inside the card often reveals whether maturity is embodied or merely performed.
